Need a fast fix for torn gear? Use Aquaseal FD repair adhesive and Cure Accelerator (formerly Cotol-240) to quickly tackle rips and tears in waders, wetsuits and muckboots. Aquaseal FD is a clear and waterproof urethane adhesive that comes in a 0.75 oz tube. It offers excellent abrasion resistance and can withstand constant pulling and movement. Using Aquaseal FD with the Cure Accelerator together and be back in the water within two hours. This formula also improves gear repairs by cleaning the surface and shortening tack time to 15 minutes. Step 01

Clean and prep the area. Thoroughly clean and dry the surface around the tear. Remove dirt, oils, and debris to ensure the adhesive bonds well.

Step 02

Mix Cure Accelerator and Aquaseal FD. Mix in a small disposable container, and then apply a thin, even layer of Aquaseal FD over the tear or hole.

Step 03

Let it cure. Lay the item flat and allow the adhesive to cure for 2 hours (vs. 8-12 hours without Cure Accelerator).

Get back out there. Once fully cured, the flexible, waterproof seal is ready for action — so your gear is too.
